The Littlest Winslow Turns 7!

THANKSFor a lil ol’ blogger such as myself, seven years is geriatric. I was 23 when I started this blog. Now, I’m a little older…I’m a little wiser…actually I’m not that much wiser, and when I pretend to be, things get sweaty. I’m still sitting at the same laptop, wasting my time and yours, and, dammit, my laptop is slowly dying, pinwheeling, and shutting applications without notice! WHAT THE EFFFF!? Can somebody buy me a new iMac? That’d be greeeeeat.

The funny (NOT FUNNY) thing about blogging for this long is that you can search way, way back to when your blog sucked and your writing sucked even more than that. It’s like a public display of your Kindergarten finger painting. Yikes.

A sincere THANK YOU to everyone who has ever read this blog, followed it on Twitter, Liked the Facebook page, and shown support. It’s appreciated more than you know!

But in the spirit of birthdays and progress, I thought it’d be cool to post a few older Remember When links. Not the super shitty ones, but ones clearly from a galaxy far, far away. Still shitty, but slightly less so!

HOOORAAAAAY!

The post where Laura Winslow showed everyone wassup (aka The Top 5 Best Family Matters Episodes in the History of the World)

The time I proved I know how to read (aka Things I’ve Learned from Nikki Sixx’s ‘The Heroin Diaries’). Because we all know how much I love a good Rock Doc or Rock Biography.

The first entry of my Epic Film Quest – a mighty undertaking of trying to watch every single Best Picture winner in the history of the Academy Awards (21 to go)

The time my 2008 self had NO IDEA that a Veronica Mars movie would later exist. (aka WHY THE HELL HAVEN’T YOU WATCHED THIS SHOW YET!?)

The time I saw “My Name is Bruce” and BRUCE CAMPBELL WAS THERE.

The time I listened to Ke$ha’s Animal and almost vomited: STILL the worst album I have ever heard in my life.

The time I remembered that I loved ska and hoped it would never die (completely).

The time I got re-obsessed with these radical cover songs.

The time I went all Paleo.

One of the many times I complained about Facebook.

Memories, you guys. All the feels.

Thanks again. You are my homie.
