Back in February, Janelle Monáe announced a joint venture partnership with Epic Records and her own brand spankin’ new record label, Wondaland Records. The first single from the newfound “movement” was “Classic Man” by Jidenna featuring Roman GianArthur, which will be the lead track on a Wondaland Records compilation arriving in May. But the new song that just dropped is even better and features the Q.U.E.E.N. herself.

“Yoga” features Jidenna, who seems to be the first big push from the label. The single doesn’t sound like the unique, funky-fresh Monáe we all know and love, but anyone who knows this Electric Lady knows she’s all about bending genres – so expect the unexpected!

While it may not carry her usual power and message, the beat is pretty sick, despite sounding like other radio friendly pop tunes of late. But hey – summer is around the corner and this jam is catchy as hell! After a couple listens, you’ll be hooked.
