There’s something about Weird Al Yankovic that just makes me feel like its 1992 again.

Rumors are all a-buzz as to whether or not Gaga herself denied Weird Al the right to release his parody, “Perform This Way” (Some reports claim it was her manager, who never passed the song on to his client). So Al did what any self-respecting, Web 2.0 artist would do: He gave it away for free on Twitter.

Reportedly, when Gaga did hear the album (OK, none of these details make any sense) she loved it. Which completely contradicts this other report I read.

OK – rewind. Weird Al has a new song. It’s called “Perform This Way.” It’s a Gaga parody.
