You Should Probably Watch the ‘Super Troopers 2’ Teaser Right Meow

ST2

Broken Lizard’s Super Troopers 2 is finally seeing the light. This teaser trailer was just released ahead of the long-awaited sequel that will hit theaters on 4/20 (because clearly, they know their audience).

The movie, which wrapped filming last month, was produced thanks to help from an Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign that raised about $4.6 million.

As with the original, Jay Chandrasekhar directs and stars, alongside the comedy troupe’s Kevin Heffernan, Steve Lemme, Paul Soter, and Erik Stolhanske. New additions are Rob Lowe as Guy Le Franc, a Quebecois mayor and former professional hockey player, and Jesse Hughes (of Eagles of Death Metal), who wrote the film’s score. Slated to appear are Fred Savage, Lynda Carter, Will Sasso, Brian Cox, Jim Gaffigan, and Emmanuelle Chriqui. The movie is being distributed by Fox Searchlight Pictures.
